Art On A Postcard | Curated by Lauren Jones

Updated: Jan 22

Work created for “This Is Dedicated To The One I Love”, an auction curated by @laurenestellejonesart for Art on a postcard in aid of The Hepatitis C trust. My paintings were lot number 41, 42, 43.

I made a Kodak and Fuji from the blank postcards that were sent to me. A nostalgic nod to the chosen song and dedicated to a time in life when these colourful rectangular boxes were in my fridge, on my shelf and around my room. With the third blank postcard sent to me, I used charcoal and watercolour for some green beans, a signature side dish that my late father would make frequently - cooked green beans, left to cool in olive oil, lemon and salt.

The exhibition took place at the Viewing Room at Colony Room Green, 4 Heddon Street, Regent Street, W1B 4BS on the 16th and 17th November 2025.

All proceeds from the auction supported the vital and innovative work carried out by The Hepatitis C Trust with those affected by hepatitis C.

I don't know who secretly bid on my Kodak and Fuji films because it was anonymous but if you're out there and you're reading this - the biggest thanks to you. Not only did you contribute to a worthy charity but you also made me feel very happy that someone had purchased the work.

Thank you to Lauren Jones for curating this, the final ever Art on a Postcard since it began 11 years ago! What a brilliant show to end on, featuring a collection of established artists like Sue Webster, Tim Noble, Bob and Roberta Smith, Matthew Collishaw, Gavin Turk and many more....As well as emerging artists too. An amazing mix to bid on.
